2015 Taipei Star Party-
Astronomy Meets the Festival of Beggars
Summer vacation is coming! In order to share the beauty and the stories of stars,
we are going to host an event called the “Taipei Star Party” on August, 22nd.
At this event, we will prepare some all-free games introducing stars,
free telescope viewings and some Astro DIY demos.
It’s a great opportunity for kids and their families who want to learn something
about astronomy in a relaxed and happy way.
Please bring your family and friends and join us!
BTW,Chinese Valentine’s Day falls on the seventh day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar.
In China, this day is also known as “The Begging Festival”(“Tanabata Star Festival” in Japan)。
