2023 10 獵戶座 流星雨(2023 Oct Orionids 008 ORI) 大溪天文台在 10月20日 晚上 18h00m 開始利用 FRO 84.8MHz USB 啟動觀測 - 10月25日 早上09h 結束.
觀測狀況:此次流星雨,觀測到10場極大期.分別是 :

*.2023 10 獵戶座流星雨的電波觀測範圍 黃道太陽經度: Solar longitude=
206度 - 210度. 彗星塵埃濃度較高的位置約有10個位置.
*.這次觀測因獵戶座流星雨的極大期 10月22日 早上8點. 在目視觀測尚無法觀測到. 但早上8點,獵戶座流星雨的輻射點,在台灣地區也已接近西方的地平.所以無線電的觀測也不是很理想.流星數都沒有達到30顆/小時(HR/ 未修正ZHR)的量.

*.此為地區性經度120度的大溪天文台接收日本福岡發射電波為估算.其可接收到上空領域為日本九州福岡上空, 南到沖繩上空.(IPRMO計算) .這個上空領域的流星偵測HR數據.(偵測黃道太陽經度: Solar longitude= 206度 - 210度 範圍).

Observation time: Daxi Observatory started using FRO 84.8MHz USB at 18h00m on October 20th and ended at 09h on October 25th.
Observation status:
During this meteor shower, 10 maximum periods were observed.

The HR counting statistics are based on the east rising time to west setting time of the Orionid meteor shower radiation point in October, and the time from midday to west setting is 20h - 09h (the night sky zenith is about 03h in the early morning).

*.2023 10 Radio observation range of the Orionid meteor shower:
Solar longitude = 206 degrees - 210 degrees.
*. This observation is due to the peak period of the Orionid meteor shower at 8 a.m. on October 22 (IMO forecast). It cannot be observed by visual observation. However, at 8 a.m., the radiant point of the Orionid meteor shower is also close to Taiwan. The horizon is flat in the west, so radio observations are not ideal. The number of meteors does not reach 30 meteors/hour (HR/uncorrected ZHR).

*. This is an estimate of the radio waves transmitted by the regional Daxi Observatory with a longitude of 120 degrees from Fukuoka, Japan. Its receivable upper sky area is over Fukuoka, Kyushu, Japan, and south to Okinawa. (IPRMO calculation). Meteor detection in this upper sky area HR data. (Detection of ecliptic solar longitude: Solar longitude= 206 degrees - 210 degrees range).
