C/2013 US10 (Catalina)
m1=5.7,Dia=10',DC=5.  11.4L, f/8, X45.

When is the next predicted comet visible to the eye alone? The next predicted comet that may be reach visibility to the unaided eye – and be really easy to spot – is Comet 46P/Wirtanen. It will appear as a sky gift for Christmas of 2018.

Although Comet 46P may show a magnitude of 3 or 4, there is always the possibility that a newly found comet will provide a good celestial show prior to that time.

19P 很暗

 Magnitudo 16.8 comet   19P / Borrelly

The brilliant star is Arcturus, alpha star of Bootes.
Two panel mosaic, each processed with 12 subframes, 82 sec exposure time, RASA 11 "/ F2.2, Sony A7s (CentralDS modded and cooled), ISO800, (the fireball was captured in a single frame of 30 sec at ISO3200) EQ8 mount, 2016-01-01, between 4:45h and 6:45h UT, Tenerife, Canary Islands, 1180 meter above sea level.
I regret not to have planned a 4 panel mosaic. Then you could follow this interesting tail further to the right up.

離子尾是反向太陽方向

 彗星的尾巴可成兩大種類：塵埃尾和離子尾。

塵埃尾主要由塵粒組成，塵粒的大小大概是從幾十萬分之一到幾百分之一公分。同時受到太陽引力及太陽輻射壓力的影響，所以塵粒會背向太陽運動。塵粒大小不同，受到太陽輻射壓力的大小也不同，所以離開彗核的時間也不同，就會形成彎曲的塵埃尾。

離子尾主要由氣體離子組成，他不但受到太陽引力及輻射壓力的作用，一樣會背向太陽運動，同時還受太陽風及其磁場的影響，所以相較於塵埃尾，離子尾更長，更直。此外，因為太陽風及其磁場的變化，離子尾可能會出現扭曲變形等現象。參考本館展示場2F，您可以有更完整的概念
