中國長征五號B遙二運載火箭升空後，其脫離的火箭核心開始繞著地球不受控旋轉，美國軍方將這個在地球低軌道繞行的不受控物體命為「2021-035B」，持續監控中，預估在未來幾天至幾週內重返大氣層墜回地球表面，預估今深夜會經過台灣西北部上空

先前脫落的助推器因為在較低空域脫落，墜回地面路徑仍是按原有彈道路線行進，落點很好預測，因此可以事先規劃，能較精準地落入無人或航線較少的廣大洋面。而在接近軌道上才回落的1級火箭，因為位置太高，又無動力，一路返回地面前還會繞行地球百餘圈，因為繞地時間長，墜落沿途受到的氣象變數太多，加上殘骸不斷燃燒，飛行狀態與質量不斷改變，因此無法精準預測其返回地面時間，落點更難以預測。
