TRICK: HOW TO TAKE LONGER EXPOSURES OF COMETS WITHOUT CORE ELONGATION:
-------------------------------------------------
As you are aware Comets & Stars have different speeds.  Stars move as per sidereal motion whereas Comets move much faster.  When you stack your subs in Seestar, your stars do not trail but the comet's core gets elongated after 6-7 minutes.

TRICK:  Yesterday, I took 29 min exposure of comet C/2025 R2 SWAN.  I stopped Live Capture every 2 minutes and restarted the capture process continuing to stack on the existing data.  The app's stacking algorithm takes the new position of the core and continues stacking.  This way the core elongation is eliminated.

I wanted to share this trick with all my Facebook Friends  so that everybody can have great photos of the two new exciting comets in the sky.
