Chinese scientists completed a feasibility study project for a space radio telescope, located in the moon orbit and will help earth science get into our universe when it was about 200 million years old. Radio signals that erupted can’t penetrate the noise of radio interference on Earth. It is impossible to find this infrared light, but that era of radio signals does not exist. What remains is the Moon or its orbit where noise influences much less.

Ideally, astronomers want to build a radio telescope to the south of the moon. Sooner or later, such a project will be implemented, but then again, it is inevitable. It’s much easier and less expensive to launch a radio telescope in the Moon orbit so it would work at those times when the Moon sees the radio background from the bottom of the Earth. It is also very good that it uses the satellites as a tool to deploy satellites, which, for example, forces the launch of space missions on the back side of the Moon to use them for that purpose.

In other words, it’s impossible to build a large antenna that can be found in the head of a vehicle. The Chinese project Discovering the Sky at the Longest Wavelength or Hongmeng (great Mist of the Primeval Universe) involves the launch of a repeater satellite through a moon orbit. That will be integrated, by itself, with data processing, and a random set of small satellites with antennae.

Using a distributed radio telescope, the moon orbiting the galaxy, can be deployed in order to keep the air fresh. An electronic telescope would survey the sky from the far end of the lunar orbit above the dark side of the moon and transmit data to the Earth after passing over the visible side of the satellite.

Among those who promoted this project, a project by a team of Chinese scientists completed a feasibility study this year for Hongmeng. This project began in 2015 and included testing specific technologies for drones. Scientists have long used terrestrial television telescopes to observe the sky, but they haven’t yet attempted to create a radio telescope for moving objects.

Scientists say that all the key points for the implementation of the Hongmeng project on a cosmic scale have been tested and can be practiced. If a project is approved by the Chinese authorities, it will be possible to launch the lunar observatory in 3.5 years.
