If N00gbay has a calculated period of anything less than 1000 years, i expect the similarity will most likely be coincidental, but anything more and I might start to suspect a relation between the two. I'll do some looking around to see if I can find any of the source observations of C/905 K1, as imprecise as they likely are.

2020年3月剛發現的C/2020 F3(NEOWISE)彗星目前亮度約9.7等，預計將在7月以0.3AU的距離通過近日點，屆時預測亮度可達2.5等。不過由於目前彗星位置偏南方，臺灣日落時彗星仰角不足15度，在彗星過近日點前以南半球的觀測條件為佳。

C/2020 F3(NEOWISE)彗星是由美國的廣域紅外線巡天衛星(WISE)在2020年3月27日發現。於2009年發射升空的WISE衛星上頭搭載口徑40公分的紅外線望遠鏡，原本是利用紅外線波段來進行天體搜尋和研究工作，但在2010年冷卻劑耗盡後，便由NEOWISE計畫接手進行近地天體的搜尋。

C/2020 F3(NEOWISE)彗星雖然還不到大彗星的程度，不過它的塵埃尾也出現這種現象，相信很多人都注意到了。最近的國外新聞中，有的稱是synchrone band，有的是用striae描述，顯然對這些彗尾條紋的成因還沒有一致的答案。
