Ron is a wannabe Rodger Clarke with not even a quarter of the talent.
If your unfamiliar with Rodger Clark his work is worth the look for DSLR astrophotography and he has a huge series on the website going into quite a bit of detail of what he uses how he edits and the reasonings behind it. The reason he’s especially relevant here is that Rodger also doesn’t use PI in most of his photos but actually within his series that’s worth a read goes into how he uses his other tools and the methodology behind it. (Also really funny because Rodger is also a wildlife photographer traveling the world to do those things as well so like triple relevant to Ron)
