塔爾西斯（Tharsis）是火星西半球赤道附近一處遼闊的火山高原[註 1]，該地區為太陽系中最大火山所在地，包括統稱為「塔爾西斯山群」的三座大型盾狀火山：阿爾西亞山、帕弗尼斯山和艾斯克雷爾斯山。火星上最高的火山奧林帕斯山，通常也與塔爾西斯地區有關，實際上它位於該高原的西部邊陲。塔爾西斯之名是《聖經》中「他施」（Tarshish）一詞的希臘－拉丁化轉寫，意指世界極西之地[2]。
