粗淺談談單筒VS雙筒  姚禮尚‎

 如果不使用高倍觀測行星, 或通常是使用中低倍, 雙筒應優先考慮(120mm ed以上口徑拚出來的雙筒還是可以拆開來使用其中一管做行星觀測)

單筒VS雙筒口徑比
一般公認=1: 1.2......例如apm 20x70 ed用雙眼與單眼觀看M22亮度差異一眼可見(這個數值高級松本正向雙筒應該還會再提高)

單筒VS雙筒解析比
好像是=1: 1.3(不知道轉向系統是否是用松本正向,使用松本正向應該還會比1: 1.3)高些

單筒VS雙筒倍率比
忘了數值, 但肯定是比=1: 1.5高.......這就是說單筒用15倍看起來只有雙筒的10倍

單筒VS雙筒對比之比
沒有恆常的數值, 這個數值應該是隨環境變的.........特殊情況V下會比較明顯. 例如看北美洲大星雲用單筒VS雙筒(後者贏), 然後在城市與市郊用20X70雙筒與10公分20倍的天望下雙筒的背景比較暗, 還有兩管筒子/解析比/倍率比/口徑比/舒適的優勢, 綜合下來20X70雙筒反而會有優勢

雙筒勝(畢竟用兩眼觀測)

單筒VS雙筒效率比
尋星雙筒勝............雙筒尋星3.5度視野以上都很容易(約20倍)
使用雙筒勝............使用快速+ 可手持

單筒VS雙筒各種用途比
日用賞景....雙筒勝
賞水鳥.....單筒勝, 但如果拿tak 22x60 apo或docter 40x80 ed這種雙筒看黑面琵鷺這種水鳥就夠了
賞林鳥.....雙筒勝
賞微距.....雙筒勝, 6.5x21/8x21賓德蟲蟲鏡光學也不是頂尖, 不過兩眼的舒適性單眼微距也只能瞠乎其後
星座........雙筒全勝, 何況雙筒還有星座鏡
解雙星.....單筒勝
暗星雲.....雙筒勝
(其餘請自己分析)

單筒VS雙筒方便性
中雙筒勝.......適合grab & go(我的兩分鐘看星法: 第一分鐘抓睡袋與拯頭, 第二分鐘抓防潮箱內中雙筒, 之後即可開始觀測)

單筒VS雙筒合適性
中雙筒勝.......天體開始有趣
月面特徵約30至40個以上
土星環狀
天王海王等
四合星分解
市區外至少有100個天體可以看
山區至少可以看兩倍以上天體

單筒VS雙筒成像品質
立體感...........雙筒勝
星點細緻與顏色上...........單筒勝, 不過如果自組高級物鏡的松本雙筒,雙筒不會輸

單筒VS雙筒有趣性
雙筒勝...........雙筒用途較廣, 並且正向的成像如果用的熟, 還可以人腦star-hopping(有趣/對星空更了解/還可以防止老年癡呆).................如果用到熟的不的了, 尤其手持, 使用者會有種天地造化逃不出掌中的感覺, 非常過癮與令人上癮

單筒VS雙筒須注意事項
光軸.............雙筒敗/完敗
發霉.............雙筒敗/完敗, 一旦發霉雙筒更難處理
架台.............平手(主因是雙筒通常使用於中低倍)

總結
中低倍時雙筒有絕對優勢, 等到了使用15-22倍, 口徑6至8倍的中高階雙筒, 相比單筒還是有絕對優勢, 同時也已經不是當時5公分10倍以下的吳下阿蒙, 重量2.5公斤以下還是可以上山下海, 厲害一點的手持觀測者還有天地造化逃不出掌中的感覺, 這類雙筒絕對可以讓業餘同好更加進一步了解深空天體, 是最好過渡到非常嚴肅天文觀測的最好選擇

Through my long time experience and according to the numerous opinions of the EMS-BINO users,
I can definitely say that, 10cm-BINO >> 14cm single scope; 13cm-BINO >> 18cm single scope: 15cm-BINO >> 20cm single scope,.., and so on.
Do you still say that carrying 20cm single refractive telescope is far more easy and advantageous than you carry a 15cm Binoscope?

With a binoviewer at a single scope, the brightness is halves, otherwise, the brightness is not double with a binoscope. But the visibility of faint structures especially at Deep Sky objects will be more than double as with only one scope. That mean in praxis, you will see with a 4" binoscope near as much as with a 8" singe scope (refractor) or a 12" dobsonian.

it depends what you compare it with and how you approach the idea :-). $13k is a sensible amount of money, however, considering that this has the light gathering capability of a 190mm refractor and your brain is working 'naturally' thus compensating a lot, one might put in the balance if the $13k is better vs $20 - 26k for a 200mm refractor, with all the pros and cons it comes (size, weight, mount requirements).

這裡舉個例子, 證明中口徑高倍雙筒的強大
事實上, 我還曾經不上架解出gamma Delphinus, 9.6"一兩次(tak 22x60)

Focusing on a pair of stars, gamma Delphinus, 9.6".
the WO22x70 does very well, gives a nice tight point for each star, has very minor spiking of the brighter star in the pair.

The GO22x85 shows the largest points when focused best. Stars don't get as small as seen in the WO22x70. On a close uneven pair it makes it just a bit more difficult to see the pair cleanly separated.

The Tak22x60 focuses to extremely fine pinpoint dots, half the size of the dots in the GO22x85. There are no minor spiking points coming off of even the brightest star. The pair is very well separated, the clean black space between the pair seemingly a bit wider that that seen in the GO22x85.
